Rancho Palos Verdes is one of the nicest places to live in the South Bay. The city consists of stunning multi-million dollar homes that sit along the coast of the Pacific Ocean. You can enjoy visiting the beaches nearby and the beautiful scenery. Take a hike along the cliffs or spend your day at the Trump National Golf Course. You can even get married at the Glass Church/Wayfarers Chapel, which has a beautiful view of the ocean and as well as amazing architecture, and then spend your time at the luxurious Terranea Resort. I remember when I was younger my parents would take my siblings and I to go to the movie theatres up in Palos Verdes just because it was a lot nicer than the ones in our surrounding area. You can walk around the neighborhood and buy some hot cocoa from the kids in the driveways or drive around in your car and take a look at the decorations. Expect the driving time around the neighborhood to be about a 30 minute to an hour drive. When there’s a home for sale in Rancho Palos Verdes during Christmas time, the neighborhood still lights up the house even though it may be vacant.
Rancho Palos Verdes homes for sale can be on the extravagant side, but well worth the investment especially if you plan on retiring there. Many people from the South Bay dream of living in such a neighborhood. The one downside I would have to say of living in Palos Verdes is that the drive to many places can be quiet long just because you have to go down long winding roads. But hey, that’s the beauty of living on the hill side.
